It has been snowing a lot all day long and the landscape looks now like a perfect scenery for Christmas. We (Harri & me) just came in after having a good evening "gym exercise" in the garden. Someone would think we looked like two snowmen. I cannot emphasise how happy we are with our Yard-Man! It is a big snow blower (from Canada!! : ) ) and it really saves us from serious trouble in the family... Harri was driving the snow blower and I was shoveling those parts that could not be done with the Man. Now, comfortably sitting in the living room with a good cup of tea under our noses.
This is how it looked here yesterday, bright sky, sunny and birds singing everywhere.

And this is how it was today. What a difference! I didn´t want to go out too much today.

I am always amazed at how much Finland looks like Michigan! Thankfully our snow here is gone but back in my hometown, there is still a lot of it. A good snow blower is a must! I'm glad you enjoyed your day in! :)
Merry Christmas...wait no...happy Easter! Snow should not fall after Easter. It should be a law ;)
I know it shouldn't be snowy after Easter but it is SO pretty! We didn't really get any snow this year and usually don't get much :( This makes me feel kind of warm and cozy :)
I agree it should be a law not to get snow after Easter. But Uncle, you´re right, it was kind of cosy inside, like a bear in the cave. ; )
Lovely pictures, the snow has not been this pretty in England for years, we have only had damp sleet showers so far this year!
Oh I know this scene all too well - hope Spring comes to you soon!
This kind of pictures - especially the last ones - show a bit of a 'mysterious' Finland in the snow. The one with the tree seems to tell a whole story! Very nice. Groetjes, Marjolijn
(huh, me valt net te binnen dat ik bij jou toch altijd in 't Nederlands schrijf?? Nou ja...)
Such delightful photo's of the snow and of its determination to stay - a wee while longer...
Joy is in seeing blue sky alongside and the birds in tune.
